Are probiotics for dogs the same as probiotics for humans?
No, they are not. The human gut flora and a dog’s gut flora composition are different, so their gut responds differently to probiotics compared to us.
When do I give this to my pet?
Our typical recommendation is to give them once a day during breakfast with their meal. Just sprinkle and serve! If your dog has a sensitive stomach, split the dose by half into breakfast and dinner.
How do I give this supplement to my pet?
We typically sprinkle them on their food as it’s the easiest way. You may also mix it into their water or feed them by mouth if that’s your preference. If you feed your pet using an automated feeder machine, you may sprinkle the supplement into the feeder machine, as it stays fresh for up to 7 days.
What is the recommended dosage for my pet?
1 scoop a day for dogs below 10kg; 2 scoops a day for dogs above 10kg.
Are there any side effects from this supplement?
Although probiotics are generally safe, some pets might experience mild digestive upset initially, which may show up as slight vomiting or mild diarrhoea. You are recommended to stop and consult your trusted veterinarian should conditions worsen.
How long does it take to see the effects of this supplement?
Improvements can typically be seen in 20 - 30 days. There were also some customers who saw results in 7 days. However, results may vary due to age, size, breed, gender, diet, genetics, and other factors.
